The NZCOM Canterbury and West Coast region held its AGM on the 6th of August and acknowledged the huge contribution that our amazing regional midwife members Violet Clapham, Kate Nicoll and Claire MacDonald have made to our region and the profession.

Violet is stepping down from the regional chair role after 3 years and was gifted some beautiful flowers and a Oamaru stone Koru to show our appreciation.

Claire and Kate are stepping down from various representative and leadership roles that they have held for the region and were also presented with beautiful flowers and a card.

We wish them all the best in their future endeavours!
